We’ve been hard at work updating to the new WordPress MU Platform.  There are plenty of very useful benefits, such as :

  • Visible stats in your blog
  • Spam prevention on comments
  • A MUCH nicer interface
  • Support for plenty of media files and videos
  • Plenty of extra functionality
  • Lots of ways to interact with your fellow Your-Japan bloggers
  • 100 colorful and attractive themes to select

The old system did not import very well.  We got a clump of all of the information stuck together.  I’ve gone through and manually fixed up a lot of posts, but it’s not yet complete.
